Georgia-Mae Fenton

Born in November 2000, Georgia-Mae Fenton is a British artistic gymnast and a member of the British national gymnastics team.

Georgia-Mae became eligible for senior competition in 2016 and since then has represented England on the international stage.

She is the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Champion on the uneven bars and during the 2017 World Championships Georgia-Mae and and Belgium's Nina Derwael became the first gymnasts to successfully compete a stalder to straddle tkatchev release move with a half turn on the uneven bars.

As a result, the skill was named the "Derwael-Fenton" in the Code of Points. In past years, this would have gone unnamed because two people performed it, but such is the amazing technical skill of the move, it is officially the Derwael-Fenton in their honour.
